The Chamber of Commerce is a major source of business information in Sierra Leone. The Chamber maintains files covering overseas countries as well as numerous local business and economic data. These will assist in investment decisions, market expansion and decisions on joint venture proposals from overseas.
Moreover, the Chamber has been established as a useful and valuable source of reference upon which the Government depends as a guide in dealing with the Business Community. As the umbrella organization of all commercial activities including Agriculture and industry, our collective business experience is vast and the Chamber's strong relationship with the Government in the promotion of business cannot be over emphasized.
VISION STATEMENT
"To be the essential focus for the whole Business Community, by promoting commercial, industrial and agricultural growth through the Private Sector."

To benefit from this vast experience and for us to help the business community grow and increase their market share, you are invited to become a member of the Sierra Leone Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture. We can make it happen by pooling our resources together. All top business enterprises, professional organizations, banks, insurance, transport, construction and travel consortiums, shipping and estate agencies, Importers, Exporters, General Merchants, etc. are members of the Chamber.

Income from membership fees accounts for 85% of the total revenue of the Chamber. Other sources of revenue for the Chamber include fees charge for various services such as the issuing of Certificate of Origin, the authentication of invoices, hire fees for the use of the Chamber's Boardroom for meetings, profit from the Chamber's Trade Fair and Exhibition and Annual Dinner, and a percentage of the Board fees or allowances paid to representatives of the Chamber serving on Boards or Committees.

The Chamber organizes an Annual Trade Fair and Exhibition. This has attracted participants from various parts of the world. It usually takes place during the period of Sierra Leone's Independence Anniversary celebrations

MISSION STATEMENT
To promote the interests of members by:
a. Encouraging all sectors of the business community to support and participate in the activities of the Chamber in order to highlight their needs and problems.
b. Providing a network of national and International business contacts and opportunities including international trade services.
c. Providing a range of up to date information services.
d. Supporting the provision of an increasing range of training at all levels.
e. Organizing and participating in a full range of promotional activities both nationally and regionally.
f. Improving the perceived role and value of the private sector
g. Influencing investment decision making for the benefit of Sierra Leone.
h. Advancing the interests of Sierra Leone in international business.
i. Mobilizing business skills and concepts in joint venture partnership.
j. Working with other like organizations in Sierra Leone, within the region and internationally.
